Potato Bread (Bread Machine)

Potato bread made easy with instant potatoes and powdered milk. I sometimes put the machine on dough cycle and remove the dough and make it into 2 small loaves for dinner

• Yields: 1 loaf

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup water
• 2⁄3 cup  instant potato flakes (or 1/2 cup mashed potatoes)
• 1  egg
• 2  tablespoons butter
• 2  tablespoons sugar
• 1⁄4 cup powdered milk
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 3  cups flour
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons  yeast

Directions

1. In the bowl of your bread machine, add the ingredients in the order that they are listed. Make sure that the yeast is not touching the water.
2. Select basic setting.
