Pork Tenderloin With Honey Grape Sauce

OH MY! I found this recipe in an Allrecipes cookbook and tried it tonite for the first time. It was soooooo good. The only thing I would do different next time is double the sauce since we would prefer more than the recipe made, although for you it may be fine. We love cooking with the Asian five-spice powder, but if you dont, feel free to omit it. Show more

  1. Preheat grill for medium heat.
  2. Lightly oil grate. Season meat with salt and pepper, and place on grill. Cook for 15 to 25 minutes, or to desired doneness, turning meat as necessary to cook evenly.
  3. Remove from grill, and let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
  4. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Cook shallots and garlic in oil until tender.
  6. Stir in grapes, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and five-spice powder.
  7. Bring to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Process cooled sauce until smooth in a blender or food processor.
  11. Serve over sliced tenderloin.
