Pork Chops and Corn Dressing

A wonderful dish for family or guests. Serve with a green vegetable and a crunchy salad.

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 4 -6  pork loin chops (1-inch thick)
  • 1 34 cups  white cream-style corn
  • 12 cup  breadcrumbs
  • 2  eggs, slightly beaten
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  •  paprika
  •  salt & pepper

Directions

  1. Season chops with salt and pepper and brown in oil.
  2. Remove chops to a casserole dish.
  3. Deglaze pan with a small amount of water and pour around chops.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients, except paprika.
  5. Spoon over and around chops.
  6. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Remove cover, sprinkle with paprika and brown under broiler.
