Pork Chop Packets

This recipe came to me by email from Allrecipes. It sounded good (and easy).

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2  pork chops (1-1/2" each)
  • 2  large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2  slices onions
  • 2  apples, peeled,cored and sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Layer on 2 pieces of aluminum foil large enough to hold ingredients; 1 chop, 1 sweet potatoe, 1 onion slice, 1 apple.
  3. Fold up and seal each packet.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes, or until sweet potatoe is soft when stuck with a fork.
  5. Serve with rice.
  6. Note: Do not open packages while baking as this will allow steam to escape, drying out the chops.
  7. Caution when opening packets, steam will be hot enough to burn.
