Porcupine Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 cup instant rice
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato soup
- 2⁄3 cup water
Directions
- Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
- Shape rounded tablespoonfuls into balls.
- Brown meatballs in skillet.
- Mix together tomato sauce and 2/3 cup water and pour over meatballs.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 50 minutes,.
