Poochie's Peanut Butter Swirls

another dog treat tested recipe..quard your fingers when giving..try to store them where your dog is not looking...lol!!

• Yields: 25-30 cookies

Ingredients

• DOUGH LIGHT COLORED 1

• 4  cups whole wheat flour
• 1 1⁄3 cups water
• 1  large egg
• 1⁄2 cup cornmeal
• 1⁄3 cup peanut butter

• DOUGH DARK COLORED 2

• 4  cups whole wheat flour
• 1⁄2 cup banana, mashed
• 1 1⁄4 cups water
• 2  tablespoons molasses
• 2⁄3 cup cornmeal
• 1  large egg, slightly beaten
• 2  tablespoons  vegetable oil
• 2  tablespoons ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Combine all #1 ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead on a lightly floured surface. Set aside.
2. Combine all #2 ingredients and mix thoroughly.Knead on a lightly floured surface till smooth.
3. Roll each dough seperately to a 1/8" thickness, into rectangles.
4. Lightly brush a little water over top of light colored dough.
5. Place the dark dough on top, then roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and chill in the freezer for one hour.
6. Slice the roll into 1/4" slices.
7. Place them on a cookie sheet sprayed with non stick spray.
8. Bake at 350* for about one hour or lightly browned.
