Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- salt, if needed
Directions
- heat butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- reduce heat, add onion and garlic, cook for 6 minutes
- pour in wine and cook for 2 minutes over high heat.
- add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- taste for salt, add if needed.
- reduce heat and cook for 18 minutes.
