Planters Perfect Pecan Pie

I found this recipe at Kraft Foods - very good!!

• Serves: 8

Ingredients

• 3  eggs
• 1  cup light corn syrup
• 1  cup sugar
• 2  tablespoons butter or 2  tablespoons margarine, melted
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup  planters pecan halves
• 1  ready-to-use  pie crust (1/2 of 15oz package)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Beat eggs lightly in medium bowl. Add corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans; set aside.
3. Prepare pie crust as directed on package for unfilled one crust pie using 9-inch pie plate. Add filling.
4. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F Continue baking 30-35 minutes or until top is lightly browned and evenly puffed. Cool completely.
