Pizza Soup

Ingredients
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 cups water
- 15 ounces pizza sauce
- 1 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1⁄2 cup cooked italian sausage or 1⁄2 cup hamburger
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- mozzarella cheese, shredded, for sprinkling
Directions
- In a large saucepan, sautéed mushrooms and onion in oil for 2-3 minutes.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Before serving, stir in Parmesan.
- Garnish with mozzarella.
- *Can use crocks, cook on low for 3-4 hours. Just brown the meat and dump everything in the crockpot. I've added leftover meat and spaghettie sauce to stretch the recipe*.
