Pizza Quiche

Ingredients
- 1 pie shell, unbaked, 9-inch
- 3⁄4 lb hot Italian sausage
- 3 eggs
- 1 3⁄4 cups hot milk
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1⁄4 cup canned green chili, finely chopped (or red or green bell pepper)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400*. Remove sausage from casing and crumble into frying pan. Cook until brown, breaking up with a fork. Drain well.
- Beat eggs and stir in milk, sausage, cheese and chilies (or peppers).
- Pour into pastry shell.
- Bake 40-45 minutes, or until knife inserted off center comes out clean.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
