Yields: 4 pie crusts
Ingredients
- 4 cups whole wheat flour, sifted
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable shortening
- 1⁄4 cup egg white
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
Directions
- Blend together flour, sugar, & salt.
- Cut in shortening.
- Add egg white, vinegar, and water. Mix well.
- Roll ¼” thick or less.
- Can be frozen for later use.
