Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 celery rib, small dice
- 1 carrot, small dice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 potato, small dice
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning (to taste)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon Sazon Goya seasoning, orange box
- 1 (14 1/2ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup sofrito sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Brown beef and onions until carmelization starts.
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Bring to a steady simmer, turn down and let simmer stirring occasionally until vegetables are cooked (about 50 minutes).
- Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy.
