  1. Beat first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy. Line small muffin tins with paper baking cups and place a vanilla wafer in the bottom of each. Fill cups 2/3 full with cream cheese mixture. Bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes until set. Top each with 1 Tablespoon cherry pie filling. Chill. Yield: 24 cakes.
