Persistence Vegetable Salad

Can be kept in refrigerator for several weeks.

Ingredients

• 1 (15 ounce) can baby green peas
• 1 (15 ounce) can French style green beans
• 1 (15 ounce) can white corn
• 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
• 1  cup celery, chopped
• 1  green pepper, chopped
• 1  ounce chopped pimiento

• Dressing

• 1  cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup  vegetable oil
• 2⁄3 cup cider vinegar
•  salt and pepper

Directions

1. Heat the dressing and after it has cooked, pour over the combined salad ingredients.
2. Set overnight.
