Perfect Pumpkin Seeds

I have made these for years, its my favorite thing about Halloween!!!

  1. Mix salt in a bowl of water and soak pumpkin seeds overnight, up to 24 hours.
  2. preheat oven to 350.
  3. drain seeds and spread out in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
  4. sprinkle with additional salt if desired.
  5. bake for 12 minutes, then stir.
  6. bake for an additional 12 minutes. Seeds should be dry. If not, keep cooking at 5 minute increments.
  7. move seeds around every time you check them.
