Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 lbs red potatoes
- 1⁄2 cup cream
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Peel and quarter potatoes.
- Place in saucepan.
- Cover potatoes with water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and cook until potatoes are soft.
- Drain.
- Mash potatoes gradually adding cream, butter, salt, and pepper.
