Peppery Beef Tenderloin

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 lbs beef tenderloin
Directions
- Mix all the spices together well.
- Rub into the tenderloin.
- Place on rack in a roasting pan.
- Bake at 400* for 45 minutes----rare; 60 minutes---medium rare; 65 minutes---medium; 73 minutes---well done.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
