  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream butter, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients.
  4. While the mixer runs on low, add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until blended.
  5. Fold in the chips and nuts.
  6. Form into balls and place 1-inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
