Penne a La Whiskey

Ingredients
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 10 -12 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium celery rib, minced
- 2 cups whiskey
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 4 cups shredded American cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
Directions
- Boil pasta according to instructions on package. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet. Whisk in flour. Sauté garlic and celery until tender about 10 minutes. Pour in whiskey and buttermilk. Let reduce for 5 minutes then add cheese. Once cheese is melted, stir in pasta and serve.
