Pecan & Red Onion Bread (for bread machine)

Tasty bread makes a nice accompaniment to any meal.Especially nice with a roast beef.

• Serves: 12
• Yields: 1 loaf

Ingredients

• 1  package  yeast
• 3  cups bread flour
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1  cup  warm milk, plus
• 1  tablespoon  warm milk
• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1⁄2 cup  chopped fresh red onion
• 3⁄4 cup  chopped pecans or 3⁄4 cup walnuts

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in the order given.
2. Select White Bread and push start.
