Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups pecan halves
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350. Combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Blend well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Allow to sit for a few minutes to allow pecans to "float" to top a bit.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until a knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean.
- *NOTE* If crust browns too fast, carefully wrap aluminum foil around edges and continue baking.
