Peasant Bread

This is a recipe I got from Beth Hensperger's cookbook "The Bread Lover's Bread Machine Cookbook." I love this cookbook. This makes a 1.5 pound loaf. The prep and cooking time is a guess. It all depends on your machine. Show more

Serves: 1

Yields: 1 1/2 pound loaf

Directions

  1. Add ingredients according to your breadmachine's instructions.
  2. Set the cycle for dough and let it go.
  3. When the dough cycle ends set it for the French Bread cycle and dark crust.
  4. After baking, cool before slicing.
