Peas a La Francaise

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup butter, cubed
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried chervil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen peas, thawed
- 1 (10 ounce) package white pearl onions, thawed
- 2 cups lettuce, shredded
Directions
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the onions, water, sugar and seasonings. Add peas and lettuce, stir until blended.
- Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until tender.
- Serve with slotted spoon.
