Pear Crisp

Ingredients
- 4 cups pears, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fruit juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping
- 1⁄2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the pears, juice, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Put the mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut the butter into the mixture with 2 knives or a pastry cutter until the mixture is uniformly crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the pear mixture.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
