Pear & Apple Streusel Pie

Ingredients
- 3 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
- 3 cups thinly sliced peeled pears
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons tapioca
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- refrigerated pie crust
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degree's.
- Mix apples and pears with 1/2 cup of the brown sugar, tapioca and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Let stand 15 minutes.
- Mix flour and remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in walnuts;set aside.
- Prepare pie crust in 9-inch pie plate as directed on package.
- Fill with fruit mixture; top with crumb mixture.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
