Ingredients
Cake mix
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Icing
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
- Cake:.
- Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- In a sauce pan, combine water, butter, and peanut butter.
- Bring to a boil then pour over dry ingredients, mix together.
- Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour into a greased sheet cake pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350.
- Icing:.
- Combine butter, peanut butter, and water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- Stirring mixture, boil for three minutes.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Spread icing on cake while warm.
