Peanut Butter Pie

Ingredients

  • 12  ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1  cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 34 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 16  ounces  frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 9  inches  chocolate crumb crusts
  • 13 cup  miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • To make a homemade chocolate crumb crust

  • 1 14 cups  chocolate crumb  wafers (about 20 chocolate wafers)
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 14 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Spread into crust.
  4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. To make a homemade chocolate crumb crust:
  7. Combine chocolate wafers, sugar, and melted butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9 inch pie plate. Chill 30 minutes before filling.
