Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 2⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 2⁄3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup stick butter, softened
- 1⁄3 cup shortening
- 1⁄2 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup chopped natural almonds
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients except oats,flour and almonds in large bowl. Stir in oats, flour and almonds.
- Place 2 inch balls of dough on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Cool on wire rack.
