Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 3⁄4 cup cocoa
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2⁄3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Filling
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄3 cup peanut butter
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Frosting
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon water
Directions
- In lg bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.
- Stir in applesauce, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour half the batter into a greased 13x9 baking pan.
- In mixing bowl, combine filling ingredients.
- Drop by TBS onto batter.
- Spoon remaining batter over top.
- Cut through batter with a knife to swirl the peanut butter mixture.
- Bake at 325* for 25-30 minutes, or until center is almost set.
- Cool completely.
- Mix frosting ingredients until smooth.
- Frost the cooled brownies.
