Peanut Butter Fudge

This one's been in the family for many years.

Yields: 1 pan cut into squares

Directions

  1. Sift the confectioner's sugar and milk together and set aside.
  2. (If you don't, the fudge will be lumpy.) Melt butter and peanut butter over low heat in saucepan.
  3. Stir in corn syrup, water and vanilla.
  4. Blend in the sifted ingredients in two additions, stirring until well blended.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the walnuts.
  6. Turn into a buttered 8" square pan.
  7. Cool and cut in squares.
  8. **Youcan use either creamy or chunky peanut butter.
  9. The walnuts are also optional.
  10. You can also add chopped peanuts instead of the walnuts if you want.
  11. Enjoy!
