Peanut Butter Cookies

  1. In a very large mixing bowl, cream the peanut butter, shortening, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs, milk, and vanilla. Combine the remaining ingredients and gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  3. Roll into 1/2 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork, forming a crisscross pattern. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
