Peanut Butter Biscuits

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a mixing bowl.
  2. Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
  3. Mix in peanut butter into mixture.
  4. Add just enough milk to make a soft dough.
  5. Knead on a lightly-floured pastry board or marble slab for half a minute.
  6. Pat out with your hands to one-half-inch thick.
  7. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
  8. Place onto a lightly greased baking sheet about 1-1/2 inches apart.
  9. Bake in 450-degree for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
