Peachy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup enriched flour, sifted
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup peach jam
- 1 1⁄2 cups oats
- 1⁄2 cup shortening, melted
- 1⁄2 cup seeded raisins
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten well
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375° and grease a baking sheet.
- Combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add in the oats and raisins; mix well.
- Add molasses, sugar, jam, and shortening to the egg.
- Blend mixture well.
- Gradually add flour mixture.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
