Peach-Mint Green Tea

My mom made this for me and she got the recipe from BHG. I loved it and thought I would share it. If you like green tea, I think you will like this. Go mom!!! Show more

Serves: 5

Ingredients

  • 2  cups water
  • 5  bags  green tea
  • 1 (12 ounce) can  peach nectar
  • 12 cup fresh mint leaves, slightly crushed
  • 3  tablespoons sugar
  •  ice cube

Directions

  1. Bring water just to boiling in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat; add tea bags.
  3. Steep, covered for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove and discard tea bags.
  5. Stir in nectar, mint, and sugar.
  6. Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours (I chilled mine for 8 hours).
  7. Strain tea mixture; serve over ice.
