Peach Fritter

This came up on one of those feeds from facebook and I made a few changes from other recipes I like and they turned out so good, light and fresh and enjoyed by all that tried them. Hope you like them too. I made these with fresh peaches but thinking frozen ones, thawed and drained would work good too Show more

Serves: 6-8

Yields: 8 fritters

Directions

  1. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking powder together in bowl.
  2. In separate bowl mix milk, eggs and butter.
  3. Slowly add dry and wet together and add peach pieces to the mix.
  4. Fry in deep hot oil (375) for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil and drain o paper towels.
  6. Sprinkle fritters with powdered sugar or make a vanilla glaze and drizzle over tops.
