Ingredients
- 2 1⁄4 ounces yeast
- 2 cups warm water
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup lard
- 5 cups flour
Directions
- Mix together first six ingredients with electric mixer.
- Add 5-6 cups flour & knead well.
- Let rise in well oiled, covered bowl.
- Punch down.
- Make into loaves or rolls an let rise until double.
- Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes for small loaves.
