Passover Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 10  eggs, separated
  • 14  tablespoons sugar
  • 6  ounces  semisweet chocolate
  • 8  ounces chocolate chips (optional) or 8  ounces  nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat yolks and add sugar until mixture is lemon colored. Add melted chocolate and chips or nuts. Beat whites until they come to a peak. Fold whites into the chocolate mixture. Pour into greased springform pan. Bake 1 hour. Let cool in pan.
