Party Punch Ice Ring

This looks beautiful floating on the top of the punch for a bridal or baby shower or even a wedding reception or any other special occasion. Really dresses up a plain punch.

• Yields: 1 decorative ice ring

Ingredients

• 2 (12 ounce) cans ginger ale
• 1⁄2 cup lemon juice

Directions

1. Decoration suggestions:
2. Apricot halves.
3. mint leaves.
4. orange peel.
5. green grapes.
6. strawberries.
7. Mix ginger ale with lemon juice.
8. Pour 2 1/2 cups of the mixture into a 1 quart ring.
9. Freeze.
10. Arrange desired decorations on top of the ice.
11. Slowly, pour remaining juice mixture over the top so that you don't disturb your decorations.
12. Freeze -- To unmold, run cold water over the bottom; it will then slip out.
13. Float in the top of your punch bowl for a very pretty presentation.
