Ingredients
- 10 -12 potatoes, about one potato per serving
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- salt and pepper
Optional
- finely minced chives (scallion tops) or green onion top (scallion tops)
Directions
- Peel and cut potatoes.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, 15 -20 minutes.
- Drain potatoes and return to pan.
- Combine all ingredients and mash together until smooth.
- Place mashed potatoes into a greased 13 x 9 pan.
- Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350°F.
- Can be made ahead, refrigerated, and then baked, but add 10 minutes to the baking time.
