Parmesan Wafers With Prosciutto and Figs
- Reviews 1
Directions
- Heat the oven to 180°C Lay an egg ring on a non-stick tray. Sprinkle an even layer of grated parmesan inside the ring. Remove the ring and use it to make a second wafer next to the first. Use these first two wafers as your guinea pigs, because you may have to adjust the heat of your oven to suit the rest.
- Bake 3 – 5 minutes, watching carefully until the cheese has melted into a soft wafer shape. Remove from the oven while still bubbling, and leave for 1 minute. Carefully lift off the wafers and lay them on a wire rack to cool and harden. Adjust the oven temperature if necessary and continue the process until you have 8 wafers.
- To serve, cut the figs into quarters. Lay 2 slices of prosciutto on top of a parmesan wafer on each plat. Top with 2 fig quarters and a final parmesan wafer and serve.
