Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Yields: 5 pork chops
Ingredients
- 5 pork chops
- 1 1⁄2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground pepper
Directions
- Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Beat eggs in a medium bowl.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Dredge pork chops in flour, then into egg, then in bread crumb mixture.
- Fry for 7 - 10 minutes on each side.
- Cooking time depends on thickness of the chops, but you should have a beautiful dark golden brown crust.
- Serve with my garlic cheese mashed potatoes.
