Parmesan Bleu Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 3⁄4 cups heavy cream
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon white pepper (use black for substitute)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon minced red onion
- 6 ounces parmesan cheese
- 2 ounces crumbled blue cheese
- 1 lb fettuccine
- 1 dash lime juice (optional)
Directions
- Heat butter in saucepan on low. When melted, add basil, onion, pepper, and garlic.
- SLOWLY add the heavy cream. when mixed, turn heat to medium. Stir occasionally for five minutes. Add a dash of lime.
- Add small amount of bleu cheese and parmesan. Stir until melted and mixed. Repeat every 3 minutes until no cheese is left.
- Let sauce thicken. Serve over fettuccine.
