Parmesan Basil Puffs

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1⁄4 cup margarine
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
- IN A 2 -QUART SAUCEPAN BRING MILK AND BUTTER TO A FULL BOIL (2-3 MINUTES ).
- STIR IN FLOUR, BASIL AND PEPPER.
- COOK OVER LOW HEAT, STIRRING VIGOROUSLY, UNTIL MIXTURE FORMS A BALL.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT.
- ADD EGGS, ONE A TIME, STIRRING VIGOROUSLY UNTIL SMOOTH.
- STIR IN PARMESAN CHEESE.
- DROP ABOUT 1/4 CUP DOUGH 2 INCHES APART ONTO 15 x 10 x 1-INCH JELLY ROLL PAN.
- BAKE FOR 18 TO 22 MINUTES, OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
- SERVE WARM.
