Overnight French Toast

I love this easy prepare the night before recipe. The bread soaks up all the moisture and makes a delicious puffy french toast when fried the next morning! Show more

Ingredients

  • 8  slices  French bread (3/4-inch thick)
  • 4  eggs
  • 1  cup milk
  • 2  tablespoons  orange juice
  • 1  tablespoon sugar
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2  tablespoons butter, softened

Directions

  1. Arrange bread in a 9X12 pan.
  2. Beat eggs; blend in remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour mixture over bread; turning slices to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Fry in skillet over medium heat.
