Directions

  1. Peel and slice potatoes in round slices, (1/8 inch thick).
  2. Butter a 1-quart casserole.
  3. Add layers of overlapping potato slices.
  4. Dot each layer with butter.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika (optional).
  7. Cover casserole.
  8. Bake in preheated 400°F oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
