Orange Vodka

No need to buy flavored vodka when you can make your own with fresh orange or lemon. From "The Art of Polish Cooking".

Ingredients

• 1  small orange
• 2  teaspoons sugar
• 1  quart vodka

Directions

1. Peel the orange rind into thin, almost transparent, strips.
2. Combine with vodka and sugar.
3. Let stand for 4 days.
4. Strain and serve ice cold.
