Orange Twinkie Dessert

A cool and easy warm weather treat to make. To cut calories use sugar free Jell-O. I use the pineapple that's packed in it's own juice. Diet soft drink may be used or even lemon lime flavored seltzer water. Cook time is chill time. Show more

  1. Cut twinkies in half length wise, and lay cut side up in a 9x13 pan, lining bottom of pan.
  2. Dissolve jell-O in hot water.
  3. Add pineapple juice, ice cream and soft drink to Jell-O.
  4. Fold pineapple into ice cream mixture, pour over Twinkies.
  5. Chill 12 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
