Yields: 2 9inch shells

Ingredients

  • 3  cups  sifted flour
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 1  cup shortening
  • 6 -8  tablespoons  orange juice

Directions

  1. Sift together flour and salt.
  2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal.
  3. Add orange juice, a small amount at a time, tossing lightly with a fork until dough is moist enough to hold together.
  4. Shape into ball and roll out or refrigerate.
  5. Pastry will keep wrapped up in the fridge for several days.
