Open-Face Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1  cup sugar
  • 2  tablespoons cornstarch
  • 9  inches  pie crusts
  • 6  peaches, peeled and halved
  • 1  cup  whipping cream

Directions

  1. mix sugar and cornstarch together and spread 3/4 of it into pie crust.
  2. arrange peach halves on top, sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture.
  3. pour cream evenly over peaches.
  4. bake at 400 for 10 minutes.
  5. reduce heat to 350 and bake an additional 40 minutes.
