Open Face Breakfast Sandwich

This is from my NC cookbook. I have not tried it, but it sounds delicious, more like a dessert or brunch item instead of a breakfast food! Hope you enjoy! Show more

  1. Drain pineapple slices, reserving 1/4 cup juice.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and juice till light and fluffy.
  3. Fold in the preserves.
  4. Toast the raisin bread.
  5. Top each slice of bread with the cheese mixture.
  6. Top each of these with 1-2 slices of pineapple.
  7. Drizzle each slice with warm honey.
